How about that? A water condensor on a pratical level, not only would we be conserving our water supply, but at the same time we would be conserving energy because these units can double as an AC unit at the same time.

The following is taken from the official website, full credit to Global Water Limited for the following

COST OF PRODUCING WATER

“The water generators have 3 units that use electricity

1. Chill water compressor (optional)

2. Hot water tank (optional)

3. Dehumidifier

The chill water and the hot water tank are optional. They do not produce the water. For our calculations of cost we will use only the dehumidifier. The dehumidifier is the only unit used in actually producing water. The dehumidifier uses 600 watts of power per hour. (.6KW/Hr. )

To calculate the cost of making one gallon of water you simply need to know three things.

1. Cost of electricity in your area. ($.??/KW/Hr.)

2. Dehumidifier electricity use. (.6 K/W/Hr.)

3. Number of hours needed to fill the tank ( 5 Gallons ).

(This varies with the level of temperature and humidity)

Time to fill tank at different Humidity/Temperature levels.

1. High (6 hrs.)

2. Moderate (11hrs.)

3. Low (20 hrs.)

We will use the cost of electricity in the Los Angeles area as an example.

Los Angeles Electricity cost. ( $.09 /KW/Hr. )

We will calculate the cost of making one gallon of water in the L.A. area under Moderate Temperature/Humidity.

1. Cost of Electricity in L.A. ( $.09/Kw/Hr.)

2. Dehumidifier Electricity use. (.6/KW/Hr.)

3. Temperature/Humidity. (11 hours Moderate)

The Formula Dehumidifier Cost of Electricity X Area Cost of Electricity X Hours to Fill Tank = Cost to Fill Tank with 5 gallons of water.

.6/KW/Hr. X 11 hours X .09 KW/Hr. = Cost of Full Tank ( 5 Gallons)”

So that turns out to be 59 cents for 5 Gallons of fresh purified water, come on people, join the revolution!

Monsters under the bed, watch out, cause we now have a Monster Nightlight!

how wonderful is that? Absolutely wonderful, so wonderful, I think I’ll get up several times a night just to make sure there are no monsters, to use the bathroom and avoid stubbing my toes, and then to just enjoy the nice blue glow.

To be present allday for an allday appointment, ranging from 8AM to 8PM, then yes, we really need you to be present all day for that appointment, and no, calling in 6 times through out the day will not move you up any sooner.

If you have been offline for more than a day, and you are just now calling in on it, no I won’t feel sorry for you, and no, I don’t really understand your frustrations on it. I would’ve called in within 1 hour of it being down, and if I did hear about an outage in my area, I would give it 24 hours, past that, it’s all over baby and I would see what’s going on with my provider.

Yes that does in fact mean something on your computer affected your connection to the internet.

Remember to read your TOS to see if running a home business on the residential account violates your Terms of Service before calling in to complain about loosing money.

Running a business does not entitle you to quicker turn around times, special treatement, or a higher priority on the trouble call on a residential account. If you need any of the previous things met, then you need a business account. If you’re really loosing thousands of dollars a day for being down, then you can afford to loose an additional $20-$30 a month to have guranteed 4 hour or 24 hour turn around time if it’s past 8pm, on any issue..

Now on to other news

I will be leaving town from June 29th through July 7th 2k6, and will be unable to update, make posts, or do anything normal other than be happy and peaceful and playful with my fellow mountain spirits and with Norma.

I’ll be in Cherokee, NC celebrating the Fourth of July. If anyone needs me, the best way to contact me would be via GMail, or by leaving a voicemail on my phone.

My stat’s are improved this month, except for AHT, last month I had a 10:30 AHT, this month I’m at 13:00 even :’( but OPC is up, QA is up, and so is compliance, up from 99.9998 to 99.99. So I may survive yet another month ^_^
