In all seriousness, my job is now being sent to an outsourcer.

By June, we will will no longer exist in Louisville, and those agents who wish to remain will either be promoted (If they played politics right) or moved into basic internet support.

Here comes one of the best part… they take payments now, does video sales, and we have to meet an 8% Close rate minimum. while that may not seem high, I take about 60-80 calls a day, majority of whome are customers who already have all services available, and if they don’t have them, the last thing they want to hear when their internet is down is “Hey, would you like to buy faster speeds for when the internet is up?”

This has very much pushed me to the edge of my continued employment, but eh… what else can I do? And in closing….
