My handle time is higher than the cost of eating out
October 30th, 2007 at 06:30 pm by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedIt was so good the other day, then yesterday, a bunch of anti-virus uninstall issues. Now today, it’s back to under 10 minutes, GO ME! But my average so far this operational month is over 15 minutes.
That game is a fun hack n’ slasher.
So according to this article on MSN, eating out may be cheaper than cooking at home. I started to realize this recently after trying to cook at home myself. I was like “OMG DAWG! I’M SPENDING WUT? HOW MUCH? MENG! I AIN’T SPENDING NO MO MONEY AT DA GROSHERY!”

IE Vs. Firefox & a death in the family
October 22nd, 2007 at 09:54 am by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedFirefox is not your friend, it is not faster nor more secure. It uses more resources than IE contrary to popular belief.
I know I have those “Download Firefox” buttons on here, but those are “sponsored” links.
Here is a good read for some of the truths about those commonly held Myths about FireFox
Now on to the sad news of the day, for those of you who read this site, you most likely know Andy Falin from the lead team at my employer… He passed away this morning. The following is the email a supervisor sent on to us:
“Team:
Many of us have either worked with or sat near Andy Falin from the lead team. Andy passed away this morning at his home. Andy was sick for the last few days and was having problems breathing this morning before he left for work. EMS did all they could but could not revive him.
I know many of you who were on my HSD team worked with Andy closely. We will have a grief counselor on site this week in HR. Brian, Tom, Schaun, and I are here for anyone who wants to speak as well.
Please keep Andy and his family in your thoughts tonight. I’m sorry I have to do this through email.”

Honestly I don’t have anything to say, I never really knew him, I had okay leadchats with him, but I never knew what he looked like or what he was all about. As much as it may make me seem like a horrible person, I don’t have any sympathy or empathy for him or his family because I was not personally involved with them in any way. I do send my condolences though because I know how it is to lose a loved one and I wish only the best for those closest to him.
I have a new supervisor again, Amy. She was my supervisor before Carlos, who was my super before my current one, Tom. I had Tom for a supervisor for only 1 week.

Do not freaking xfer your calls to me!
October 15th, 2007 at 11:30 am by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedSeriously, if you don’t unload the anti-virus program and test their email in the webmail, do not transfer them to VAS saying it’s a Security Suite issue while not bothering to notate the account thinking you won’t be caught.
Matter of fact, if you had just asked how big the email was that the customer was trying to send, you would’ve discovered that it was a 29 meg email. But you know what happened at the end of that call? I upgraded them to 10 Meg internet and biggest video package, too bad for you in loosing out on that sale buddy.
Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash is delicious!

The James has been Vas’ed, oh Tobar!
October 13th, 2007 at 07:50 pm by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedI’m now on the VAS team, so I get to take all these mis-transfered calls, and calls from stupid people who should’ve taken a licensing course to even be allowed to use a computer. Then again, if you could give me a 40 Gigabit Connection, then I’d be willing to take any call you can offer me.
Of course, while Miss Sweden 40 Gig may be blazingingly fast, the Japanese have the over all fastest average internet connection per household. Their average is just over 60 Mb/s, paying around $34.95/month.

Loosers.
So my third day of taking VAS calls is cake, and thank God the RPC/Close rate have been vastly lowered for VAS as of late, and additionally, we’ll be taking on additional call volume starting Monday for the DVR Remote Web Access. Like TiVO, out DVR’s are now accessible through the intargnats to setup remote recordings of that show you forgot to start when you left “Work” down on 5th and Market.
That’s it for now, PEACE!

Super Lame.
October 7th, 2007 at 01:58 pm by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedAn ex is threatening me… The following is a copy of the email she just sent me, with names removed.
“so all my passwords and _______’s passwords got changed over the past couple of days. and my computer is crashing all the time.
PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE. it is annoying and scary how you decided to do this over 2 years after i broke up with you. Please focus your attention on yourself and leave me alone. it is happens again, i will take proper action. i have copies of all the emails you sent to ___ in which you could be sued or defamation of character, amongst other things. it is time to move on and learn a new hobby to occupy yourself.”
Ten notes of interest pertaining to the above:
- I’m not so bored that I must bother myself to hack an ex, and her boyfriends myspace/email/whatever account.
- Technically that is still my dad’s computer he let you use.
- You still have my TV, owe me money, and have my Bed, which for these and #2, we can take you to small claims court.
- There is no defamation of character if what is stated is truth and there is a lot of evidence to back it up, including receipts for an abortion I paid for, for a child that wasn’t mine, that was conceived while we were involved and living together.
- It was I who called off the relationship and said we needed a break, you went to your boyfriends place and stayed in Indiana for the next several months then, all the while with his girlfriend being pregnant.
- I moved on by not bothering myself with you in any way, not worrying about all the money you owe me, the items listed in #3 that don’t belong to you, blocking you on myspace, on mojo, on email (except my gmail apparently,) and by not even talking about you to others.
- From attempting to pay off all your debts when we became involved, I went into debt $10,000 and ruined my good credit rating of 810 down to now around 340 at best.
- Hacks and stolen passwords are 99% of the time caused by those close to you, or by you clicking on things you shouldn’t.
- If I really wanted to bother you or mess with you or hurt you blah blah blah, I would’ve mailed a copy of the medical records and receipt from your abortion to your parents and your pastor. Hacking and password cracking is a very low level of attack that is well below even my level of worthy revenge. Go ahead and subpoena the places of yours that were hacked for a IP record of who has been logging in, you won’t find me, anyone of my associates, my employer, or any place I go to on the list of IP addresses that accessed your account.
- Don’t let the drugs talk for you, think, follow the 7th step of The Noble Eightfold Path teachings of Buddha, when you take what you’ve observed and make assumptions. Matter of fact, follow the Eightfold Path as a whole.
Remember, suicide is painless, apparently for you it’s only life that hurts.

Mixi.jp ? Who wants in? Free ice cold Coke!
October 6th, 2007 at 09:44 am by Tsali Wasituna in Uncategorized
I’m a member of a very exclusive website called Mixi. It’s so exclusive it’s available by invite only and generally only to those who live in Japan and meet someone already on the site. Guess what? I’m a member, and you can be too for a small donation to buy me beer ($5.00)! Or to help me buy lunch($5.00)! Or for free if you email me something interesting, like pictures, stories, good job’s that are hiring, etc.. Email to wasituna+mixi@gmail.com
Come on, you know you want to, doesn’t it look fun? (points below)
Honestly this is a very good way to help learn Kanji, Kana, Japanese et al; in addition to making friends in another country. Easiest way to think of this site is like a Japanese only MySpace.
I also apparently won a SanDisk 2GB MP3 player. Execellent.
Oh, information! Keywords! Awesomeness! The James received the VAS position. He begins training on Monday, 9-6, then works the same schedule he has right now, shifted by one day to the right, off Wed-Friday instead of Tues-Thurs.
Go The James! Does this make you proud of him? :O AHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Ohhhhhhh…. Gimme crack and I don’t care, gimme crack and I don’t caaaaarreee! Corn.
Yes, I am reaching for stuff to say, my mind is blank and dead right now so I have nothing I can really talk or rant about, I think they put something in the pizza they gave us today.

So Coca-Cola has come up with a new technology. So new in fact, it’s only being revealed in the UK in a new special Sprite Super Chilled drink. The concept behind this is that using regular ice, the drink gets diluted and looses flavor and all that jazz; this new bottle though will have a mechanism in it that when opened will chill the drink, forming ice in the bottle itself with Sprite as it’s base. If this roll out is successful, then Coke will put it in it’s other products and eventually release it in the US, in addition they’ll consider marketing the technology to other drink manufacturers! Imagine that, no need for a cooler or bucket of ice when you grab that twelve pack of beer and go fishin’ or host a party. Everyone just opens their bottle and BAM, instant chilled perfection!

Morgan goes to the vet
October 3rd, 2007 at 11:48 am by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedSo Morgan Tha Kitteh went to the vet today to get some shots, she’s now sleeping with Norma and angry at me, but still she is soooooooooooooooooo cute!
So guess who wants to hire me?
I was just contacted by email from The Mac Store in Oxmoor Mall to come in for an interview. If I don’t get VAS this week, I’ll definitely be attending this to inquire about wage etc.. The only problem is it’s still a sales position but I can get over that, but also instead of a regular interview and scheduling and seeing what can be arranged to meet, I’m told I have a specific date and time to go OR ELSE! There really isn’t an OR ELSE, but that’s what it feels like.
An Apple Mac Specialist is a sales associate representing the Apple Brand, and is at the core of the customer’s experience. Mac Specialists find out each customer’s needs and recommend the best solutions based on those needs. Does this sound like something you already do in your spare time?
GOOD! Here’s what you need to know:
When: Sunday, October 7th
Time: 6:30 pm
Check in 15 min. prior
Well seeing as it’s nearly 1PM in the afternoon, as opposed to 1PM in the sunrise, I ‘spose it’s time I get to waking Norma up.

ROUTER! ZOMG! oh and 300!
October 1st, 2007 at 07:35 pm by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedHow freaking difficult is it to understand me when I say “Connect that oversized phone jack to the back of the Modem, that little box that has a Coaxial Cable Line connected to it with blinking lights; also connect the other end directly to the PC itself.”
4srsly! How can I make this any simpler for you without coming to your home on a Sunday afternoon with a diagram, a diarhama, and a collection of Die Hard movies?
So, check this, today it was so slow, they had to pull a random 25 people off the phone to do a “Special Project.” Guess what the project was? Come on! DO IT!

IT WAS A SPECIAL PROJECT TO WATCH 300. In the community room in the basement, complete with Ice Cream and Soda’s. I was off the phones, being paid from 2:23 PM EST till 6:45 PM EST watching that movie and discussing random various things with my fellow co-workers. Today I like my employer a lot, haha.
