Logo-ing is not fun
March 3rd, 2009 at 09:54 pm by Teh James, Savvy?Found a couple photos that looked strangly familar on a couple different commercial websites in recent weeks. Upon further investigation, I discovered they were photos I took.
Stolen from my site, used without permision, claimed by some other wannabe.
Going forward, all new photos I take are going to be labled with a site logo.
I hate doing this, and am in the process of converting all 8,000 photos I have online to including this logo.
These websites have either complied with my request to have them removed or have paid me (well… they all followed my request to have them removed and didn’t bother with anything else.)
Dearest whomever stole my work and claimed it as their own, you are a douche, signed el Jaime.
Right now my spirit’s sleeping somewhere cold, disgraced by your mediocre show, waiting to reignite this fire of creative expression, soon son, you too will burn in my light, you will not bring me down, instead you shall wake me up inside, bringing me out of this lie, opened my eyes to everything, burning a hole through your darkness, you will burn in my light.
Norma asked me to go get Pistachio Ice Cream for her, I think I shall go and do just that.
I hate logo-ing my images, it disrupts the natural Qi of them. It detracts from the awesomeness I captured, the essence of beauty and feeling, the very soul of our great mother.
I will of course keep the originals, in full frame, un-altered stored in 1 primary location and 2 backup locations, but anything I actually post online will only be covered up with a big plastering logo showing my site name.
Now if you’ll excuse this little rabbit going down into his hole, he must find some shoes and get to the store, for pistachio ice cream here I come, The Norma loves you more than NOM!
