Not my computer again? 4real?
December 3rd, 2007 at 11:51 am by Tsali Wasituna in Uncategorized“A guy the other day walked me through it just fine”
This is a different issue, the other day was because your network was being set up the first time.
“Why can’t you help me do that now?”
Because it’s a different issue, this time your wireless card in your laptop is turned off. This is resolvable by either turning it back on, or contacting your manufacturer for assistance if you don’t know how to turn it back on.
“But the other day a guy did it just fine!!!”
Yes, because that was a different issue.
“But he did it in like 5 seconds”
Yes, because that was a different issue.
“But…”
Yes, because that was a different issue.
“How do I turn my wireless back on?”
I don’t know, that’s on your pc that you own, not all laptops are the same, my wife’s is a button dead top center on the keyboard, my friends is on the side with an up and down switch. If you don’t know where it is on your new laptop, please contact the OEM for support.
“You are very mean and rude, and very unhelpful.”
I’m sorry you don’t know everything about your brand new laptop you spent two thousand dollars on, but that’s outside my abilities. Not all laptops are the same, please read your instructions or contact your OEM for support, would you like to buy a higher video package?

“I’m getting a malfunction error on my anti-virus”
That usually means you have something else installed that is conflicting with it.
“But it’s been this way for years!”
Even so, something is conflicting now. Imagine a car radiator, it starts corroding from the cheap anti-freeze you put in, and pushes some rust and metal through the lines. It’s been like this for years, but now suddenly your car is making noises and over heating. Is this the car manufacturer’s fault for building the radiator at these specs, or is it because of the stuff you’ve been putting in it?
So apparently Toyota is nearly as bad as Ford when it comes to “Quality is Job #1.”
So how about Japanese Whaling Season? Back in full force already, all for “Scientific” research. So scientific in fact, that it’s the World’s Greatest Taste Test!
They just posted for HSI Supervisors, unfortunately I’ve only been in VAS for 2 months, to qualify to apply for Supervisor you have to have been in your current position for a minimum of 6 Months. Those bastards.
::Update 12:18 PM:: How in the hell can you not have a Phone near the PC in todays day and age??!?

Your day could be worse..
November 19th, 2007 at 10:27 am by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedYour day definitely could be worse than what it is, at least you weren’t hit at a railroad crossing. See story below.
Via: Japan Probe

Important news from Mainichi:
ORA, Gunma — A woman sustained minor injuries after a weekend railroad crossing collision — with a rampaging wild boar, police said.
The 60-year-old woman suffered a minor injury to her knee after the boar racing along the Tobu Koizumi Line tracks slammed into her as she traversed a railroad crossing.
The boar raced away and has not been found.
Police said the crossing the woman had been using had a gate and warning lights and bells, but these had not been activated because the tracks were being used by the wild animal and not a train.

The James has been Vas’ed, oh Tobar!
October 13th, 2007 at 07:50 pm by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedI’m now on the VAS team, so I get to take all these mis-transfered calls, and calls from stupid people who should’ve taken a licensing course to even be allowed to use a computer. Then again, if you could give me a 40 Gigabit Connection, then I’d be willing to take any call you can offer me.
Of course, while Miss Sweden 40 Gig may be blazingingly fast, the Japanese have the over all fastest average internet connection per household. Their average is just over 60 Mb/s, paying around $34.95/month.

Loosers.
So my third day of taking VAS calls is cake, and thank God the RPC/Close rate have been vastly lowered for VAS as of late, and additionally, we’ll be taking on additional call volume starting Monday for the DVR Remote Web Access. Like TiVO, out DVR’s are now accessible through the intargnats to setup remote recordings of that show you forgot to start when you left “Work” down on 5th and Market.
That’s it for now, PEACE!
