It is what it is
April 12th, 2010 at 11:14 am by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedNew schedule at work due to “Virtualization.” Here I thought I was an “old dog” having worked for this company for 5 years, turns out that of the now 40 escalation team members I’m ranked 26th in seniority alone.
What does this mean for yours truely, well my droogies I shall be commencing the ol’ inout inout much later in the evening than the norm and my time driving the durango number 95 to the Malika bar will be in the early afternoon. With the late evening shift though hopefully I’ll see less of the red red croovy flowing in the lights of the fire sky.
On that notes, time for me to head on out for the day, so I’ll catch ya’ll niggas on the flip side!
New hours: 5pm-2am, off Monday and Tuesday, forealz son.

Tuesday afternoon
January 5th, 2010 at 11:48 am by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedHere I am in the parking lot at work, two hours early. Why you might ask, well it’s simply because now I must run all errands before my shift starts.
Previously I worked from 6 AM to 3 PM, now I’m working 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM. Before I could do almost anything I needed as soon as I was off with no worries of running out of time, but since most things in this town shutdown at 9 PM or earlier my routine has been greatly interupted. At 10 am I had to go to bank, go to gas station go to rental office one last time and then on to grab breakfast. With everything being all over various point of the Metro, I had no choice but to rush to each location for fear of traffic and delays, the result, I’m at work at 11:25 am, 2 hours and 5 minutes prior to my new start time.
So this I charge to you, my home, my love, the metro city of Louisville/Jefferson County, work to incorporate retailers to remain open until midnight or later at least 6 days a week. I may want to read a new book at night that I heard about that day, I may want a smoothie to at 1 am to calm my thoughts and nerves after work. Maybe a couple rounds of bowling to wind down until 3 am?
Just look at the number of 24 hour factories/plants/major employers there are here in the ‘Ville, why no love for those of us who are not your standard nine-to-fivers?
Sincerly, el Jaime, los King de Everything.

Mag Bar & a promotion
October 17th, 2008 at 11:28 am by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedLast night, Norma wanted to go out again with a couple friends of hers from work, PJ & Sarah this time, and we went down to the Mag Bar. I don’t know why she wanted to go, but I agreed to it since earlier in the day my supervisor called to give me some graven news about my job… I was to be promoted to Escalation Specialist in VAS and loose my four day work week, I was very distraught and needed to drink my woes away.
They’ve made some improvements since last time I was there, such as the sign seen below. There was also your usual crop of college intellectually drunk people who are too cool for other bars, and your crop of people from where I work (I saw you Joe Carr.)
The Mag Bar seems to be a Mag-net ( I am so not funny ) for people from my employer.
We played pool, hung out outside so people could get their smoke on, and had some drinks. I of course had the usual Corona, Norma had Rattlesnakes & Bud Lite, and I don’t recall what the other two had.
Now I have to get back to trying to wake Norma up so she doesn’t sleep the day away, adiós.

St Andrews Pub
October 13th, 2008 at 07:18 am by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedLast night, after Norma got off work, she called to ask if I wanted to go out, I said sure.
We went to St. Andrews Pub last night, played some pool with a couple people she knows from work, PJ & Kat. It was fun, and I had a couple corona.
Afterward, on the way home, we ate at White Castle.
Here is a picture of the pool table, now if you’ll excuse me, I gotta take a shower.

Walking out
October 7th, 2008 at 12:15 pm by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedToday I feel like walking out. I have no urge to want to stay and do my job right now, not saying I don’t want to comeback, but just take a half day off.
I grow ever more weary and tired of this position, 4 years straight of talking Internet tech support will do that to you. Is it any wonder most IT professionals can’t stay employed with the same company for more than a few years?
Promise after promise has been broken by my employer, keeping me in the same position and only barely making me stay here by offering me up the next new fancy position or project. I have been turned down on 4 seperate opportunities in the past 6 months, all given to others who are either now no longer employed by us, or moved very quickly to another job in the company leaving that project with yet another vacancy.
I have tried fighting you, doing everything you wanted, being a suckup and a louse, or I’ve been an angry standup fight for my rights employee, all to no avail.
At this point in time, I’m no longer able to comprehend what you want me to do, what is required of me to be able to expand my horizons and employment with you. Give me a sign, a glimmer of hope, something that’ll let me know you still care about me baby, you drove your other lovers away, all the smart ones at least. You kept the dimwitted ones? much to the bemusement of your girlfriends, just because they kept earning you money to increase your bust size. What they didn’t do baby, was help you with your issues, straighten you up and help make you a positive member of the community.
Oh work, I feel soon our relationship may come to an end, and you will be the one in the back alley with you panties down and drunk, waiting for any guy to come take you home.

QA!
October 1st, 2008 at 06:38 pm by Tsali Wasituna in UncategorizedSo, Jaki with QA was not quite forced to resign, but is no longer with my employer. Apperantly people thought she was mean or rude or something, completely false… The truth is they all just wanted her body, it’s made of chocolate. They just want to eat her, and she denied them, cock-blocked them.
This is what they’re thinking.
